A beautiful cafe with a rare menu and a welcome twist on Russian/Eastern European cuisine. The menu is diverse and things look appealing. I had sirniki - fried cottage cheese balls, which came with two refreshing compotes: probably raspberry and passion fruit. Not sure I would order it again but I'm glad I tried. The Russian honey cake had a beautiful layer, which made it lighter than usual and beautifully balanced. The service was quick, attentive, and it came with a smile.

Crispy Eatery delivers classic brunch dishes with a creative twist, and I think it’s a bold move that really pays off. We started with some sweet drinks: a cold Ferrero latte and a mint hot chocolate. Both were delicious and set the tone for the meal. For mains, we had the prawn omelette ($26.80) and the salmon bliss bowl ($32.90). The omelette was generously filled with prawns, cheese, and garlic, making it rich and satisfying. It came with sourdough, greens, and a tasty relish that brought everything together. For dessert, we shared the chocolate and vanilla honey cake, which was a highlight. I loved that it wasn’t overly sweet—the honey gave it a subtle lightness, and the layers held up beautifully as we dug in. Service was excellent throughout—friendly, attentive, and relaxed. We’re really glad we found this spot through social media. It might be on the pricier side, but for the quality and experience, it’s absolutely worth it!

The place was so nice. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Coffee was tasty and full with flavors . The french toast was yummy. Egg pandect was yummy but we didn’t like the crepes with it , I think if they provide different kinds of bread or hash will be very good.

The syrniki and coffee here are absolutely delicious! I’m a true coffee lover, and if you’re looking for high-quality and tasty coffee — this is the place to go. We had a brunch here with the girls at Crispy, and the location was super convenient. A great spot for a large group. Special thanks to the amazing manager, Sofia, and the wonderful service!

Crispy Eatery is a cozy café that’s been around for two years and keeps things exciting by updating their menu every few months. I tried the blackcurrant dumplings, tropical French toast, octopus harmony, and a pirozhki trio — each dish was beautifully presented, with the dumplings and octopus standing out the most. Their drinks list is extensive, and I especially loved the rosy coffee with freeze-dried berries and the refreshing matcha tonic. With warm interiors, big mirrors, blankets, board games, and books, it’s a spot that feels both comforting and adventurous — definitely worth a visit!

Google reviews are broken unfortunately and anything below 5 is considered bad. Since the place and the food are actually good I don't wand to mess up their rating and will give them 5 star. However, in my opinion good is 4 and for 5 there should be some "wow!" or "amazing". It was late morning on Saturday and the place was quite busy, parking is exactly what you'd expect from the location. Also want to point that Slavic dishes are probably adopted to Kiwi taste (or rather Asian taste, no Pakeha spotted and a lot of attention to appearance of the food making it more "Instagramable") and not so much of babushka style :). Latte is awesome! Just as I like it, rich, bold and full-bodied. This is firm 5. Honey cake is rather light, flavor and sugar wise. Nice overall. Firm 4. Vareniky/dumplings with cottage cheese (quark actually) were somewhat watery inside and sprinkled with dried raspberry pieces (appearance!), but nice overall. Firm 4. Crepes were ok -ish, that is 3. Couldn't get the idea of the dish. Too moist and sugar powdered even when it comes with honey. Staff is very nice. Definitely will come back for their coffee when I will be around next time.

A very nice cafe, menus are different from an ordinary cafe. Lovely coffee. I am so happy to see this space is finally revitalised after so many years of unstable businesses. Hopefully Crispy stays on.
